I understand that to alot of us
the idea that God loves and wants the best for us is a
hard concept to grasp. But the truth
is that He does love you and has made provisions that you can be
in heaven with Him someday and experience His peace and love
forever! Also, following His plan of salvation can bring
you a joy you have never known or thought you could
have. No, it doesn't take away the hard times,
things aren't always going to be easy, but following
God's plan insures that you will never be alone, you will never have to face the hard times without
His love being with you! You will never have a dark night
that can't be lit by His words. It is not all that hard
all you need to do is believe! Read over the simple plan that God has laid out in
the Bible just for you!
God says in order to go to Heaven, you must be
born again. In John 3:7, Jesus said to Nicodemus,
"You should not be surprised at my saying,
'You must be born again'"
You might be asking; "Ok, How can I be saved"
or born again? In the Bible God gives us the plan.
His plan is simple!
You have to realize that everyone is a
sinner, not because it was your fault you were abused it is
because there is no one that can go without sinning, we are all
"human". "All
have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" (Romans
3:23).
Because you are a sinner,
you are condemned.
“For the wages [payment] of sin
is death” (Romans 6:23). This means eternal separation from God.
"Just as man is destined to die once, and
after that to face judgment"
(Hebrews 9:27).
But God loved you so much,
"Christ was sacrificed once to take away
the sins of many people" (Romans 6:23)
God made him who had no sin [Jesus]
to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the
righteousness of God. (2 Corinthians 5:21).
Jesus had to
shed His blood and die.
For the life of a creature is in the
blood, and I have given it to you to make atonement for
yourselves on the altar; it is the blood that makes atonement
for one's life. (Leviticus 17:11).
In fact, the law requires that nearly
everything be cleansed with blood, and without the shedding of
blood there is no forgiveness. (Hebrews 9:22).
"God demonstrates his own love for us in
this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us."
(Romans 5:8).
In the past God
overlooked such ignorance, but now he commands all
people everywhere to repent. (Acts
17:30) This repentance means changing your mind to agree
with God that you are a sinner, and also agree with what
Jesus did for you on the Cross.
In Acts 16:30-31, the Philippian jailer asked Paul and Silas:
"Sirs, what must I do to be saved?" They
replied, "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you
will be saved."
You need only to believe in Him as
the one who bore your sins,
died in your place, was buried, and the one who God
resurrected. His resurrection assures
that you, the believer, can claim everlasting life with Jesus!
"To all who received him, to those who
believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of
God." (John 1:12). "Everyone who
calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." (Romans
10:13) "Everyone" includes you,
"will be saved"
means not maybe, or can, it means
you "will
be saved"!
By now you realize you are a sinner, we all are. Right now, wherever you
are, repent, lift your heart to God in prayer.
In Luke 18:13, the sinner prayed:
"God,
have mercy on me, a sinner." Just pray: “Oh God,
I know I am a sinner. I believe Jesus was my substitute when He
died on the Cross. I believe His shed blood, death, burial, and
resurrection were for me. I now receive Him as my Savior. I
thank You for the forgiveness of my sins, the gift of salvation
and everlasting life, because of Your merciful grace. Amen.”
Take God at His word and claim His
salvation by faith. Believe, and you will be saved.
No church, no group, no good works can save you.
Remember, God does the saving. All of it!
You say, “Surely, it cannot be that simple.” Yes, that
simple! It is scriptural. It is God’s plan. Believe in Jesus and
receive Him as Savior by faith now. "What
good is it for a man to gain the whole world, yet forfeit his
soul?" (Mark 8:36).
God’s power will save you, keep you saved, and enable
you to live a victorious Christian life.
"No temptation has seized you except what
is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be
tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he
will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it." (1 Corinthians 10:13).
Do not trust your feelings. They change. Stand on
God’s promises. They never change. After you are saved,
there are three things
to practice daily for
spiritual growth:
- Pray --
you talk to God.
- Read your Bible -- God talks to you.
- Witness --
talk about God.
"Whoever acknowledges me before men, I
will also acknowledge him before my Father in heaven." (Matthew
10:32).
From now on God's love will be with you no matter where you
are or what happens in the future. If you read these words and
prayed the prayer please email me at

begun, healing and joy are waiting for you in the arms of Jesus
Christ.
